Tender Shoots. This Yellow pastel green is decidedly a Spring palette colour, and maybe also Autumn if you find a shade with a little bit more of black and yellow inside so it falls into Moss territory.

African Violet. This lovely colour is Lavender in my palettes, Cool Summers, Soft Periwinkle (Soft Autumns and Light Springs). If you go stronger, as Periwinkle, for all Summer palettes.

Emerald. Despite the name of the colour, this is certainly not emerald in the traditional sense of the word (a very strong, jewel-like green with a hint of blue inside), but green turquoise. All palettes, except the Deep Winter one, look good in this colour.

Nectarine. Orange, in one version of another, has been all the rage for several seasons now, although this version is certainly a soft salmon one and not the powerful Tangerine Tango of last year. Warm and Soft Autumns, Light Summers, and Warm and Light Springs look good in some sort of salmon.

Colour trends SS2013: Nectarine by Caroline Grant. This is a weekend look that plays on the contrast between the salmon shade and the poppy red. The accessories, all by Monies, add a bit of hardness to the filmy material of the dress. Monies pieces were all made of natural materials (horn, wood, semi-precious stones), and make for great statement pieces.
