We arrived last Sunday in Paris and will be living in Montmartre for a month. Didn't expect the steep flights of stairs, but it's good exercise for my legs! Let's see if I can shake the weight I put on in Sweden... I have a great wardrobe I don't fit into!
I have always had French revolutionary sympathies and, at heart, I have always been kind of a mixture between a sans culotte and the Red Queen in my fondness for rolling crowned heads (figuratively, of course). I speak a reseasonable amount of French (it just needs a good polish ;)), so finding a job won't be, hopefully, as hard as in Sweden. I guess I'll be fine here.
